SHORT BIO:  
Gita Irwin is an award winning writer-producer whose background in banking, administration and event management has served her well in the media industry in the roles of producing and production management. She is also a multi-talented creative who writes proposals & screenplays, draws, and designs props and has worked in art department. Her films have widely screened at international film festivals and were nominated for awards. 


EXPERIENCE:

2016 : Producer on '3 Minutes' - short film - 7 mins - (written & directed by Shannon Browning)

2016 : Production Manager on 'Chicken Men' - short film - 10 mins - (directed by J. Beach) 

2015 : Production Manager on 'Attack Attack Art' - web series - (written & directed by Scott Walmsley, released later in 2016 ) 

2015 : Producer on 'Grandfather Paradox' - short film - 8 mins - (written & directed by Shannon Browning, international premiere at DC Washington Shorts in 2015) 

2013 - 2014 : Writer - Producer  on ‘Dead to Me’ – short film  – 11 mins 

2014 : Production Runner on '54 Days' - feature film - (directed by Tim Lea, premiere screening at Sci-Fi film festival in October) 

2013 : Art Department – Production Designer Assistant on ‘Mother ’ – short film  – 18 mins - (directed by Mike Green, screening at MIFF 2014)

2012 : Writer - Producer  on ‘Unhinged’ – Short VFX film (in post-production) – 15 mins 

2009:  Segment Producer ‘Dare I Ask’ – TVS Current Affairs show – 30 mins - (won Best Program at Antenna Awards in 2010)

2009:  Multicam Camera Operator ‘Dare I Ask’ – TVS Current Affairs show – 30 mins. 

2008:  Writer – Director – Producer - Editor  of ‘Facing the Black Dog’ – short documentary - 9 mins - (won 2nd prize at the Hope Awards in 2008)
